Japanese Fighting Fish: 4 fisherman sold their trawler bought new gear and made a band.

Leeds four-piece alternative rock band Japanese Fighting Fish burst onto the underground rock scene with their debut album Just Before We Go MAD in 2010 and their electrifying live shows have been rounding up people willing or no since some unknown time before then. They are a mysterious lot: ringmaster, funeral director, tree lopper, and a frightening, brooding shadow beating drums to it all. Known for blending diverse styles and likened to Queens of the Stone Age, Captain Beefheart, System of a Down, Interpol and Faith No More, so far Japanese Fighting Fish are backed by Loz Guest, Johnny Doom, and Matt Stocks (Kerrang!), Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio),Caroline Beavon (Q Radio), Steve Hancock (BBC 4), Alan Raw (BBC Introducing), and Ian Camfield (Xfm). Japanese Fighting Fish will be touring throughout 2012 with their second album Day Bombs due for release later in the year..
